This house stands on the dike in the small village Osten, which funnily enough means East in German. It’s also really close to Norden. Those Frisian (dt.: Friesen) are not very imaginative. On top of that Norden is actually east of of Osten 
.
In this picture I used one of the coolest new Lightroom features; white-balance brush. Because I took the picture against the sun, the sky was blown out and white and the house in front was actually underexposed. By painting the area of the sky with the adjustment brush, I could assign a lower exposure for it and color it blue. It still seems a bit artificial and I may have overused the adjustment brush a bit, but I still prefer this version a lot to the original:

jo gut, das lag wohl daran, dass ich erst das original photo auch bei flickr hochgeladen hatte, dann aber wieder geloescht und stattdessen auf picasa geladen habe
